Paramount+ has released the official trailer for its upcoming docuseries, *NÖTHIN’ BUT A GOOD TIME: THE UNCENSORED STORY OF ’80S HAIR METAL*, with a premiere date set for 17 September exclusively on the service in the US and Canada. The three-part series, directed by Jeff Tremaine, will also launch on 18 September in additional international Paramount+ markets.
Based on the New York Times best-selling book of the same name by rock journalists Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock, the series offers a fresh and candid behind-the-scenes look at the notoriously wild and ambitious world of 1980s hard rock. It includes interviews with Bret Michaels, Stephen Pearcy, Nuno Bettencourt, Dave “Snake” Sabo, Riki Rachtman, Corey Taylor, and Steve-O, among others.
Bret Michaels shared his thoughts, saying, “I’m excited for viewers to take a fresh look at the fans and bands, highs and lows, and to celebrate the music and good times of the ’80s and beyond. I hope the audience enjoys it as much as I did, and I can’t wait for them to have insight into some of those notoriously crazy moments!”
The series is produced by Gorilla Flicks, Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios, and MTV Entertainment Studios for Paramount+. Executive producers are Jeff Tremaine, Shanna Newton, Eric Wattenberg, Scott Lonker, Will Nothacker, Erik Olsen, Bruce Gillmer, and Michael Maniaci.
