Paramount+’s “Special Ops: Lioness” Premieres July 23.
The Premiere of Taylor Sheridan’s SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS will be on Paramount+ on Sunday, July 23. Emmy Award nominee Michael Kelly, Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman, and Academy Award winner and Executive Producer Nicole Kidman are just a few of the stars who appear in the series.
What is Special Ops: Lioness About
Based on a real US military program, SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS follows Joe (Zoe Saldaña) as she navigates the challenges of being at the forefront of the CIA’s fight against terrorism while also maintaining a personal life. As part of the CIA’s efforts to prevent another 9/11, Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Kelly) create the Lioness Program, which recruits an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz (De Oliveira) to work undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism.

SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS will also star series regulars Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur, and Hannah Love Lanier. The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone, and John Hillcoat.
SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS is the latest addition to Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount+, which includes 1923, 1883, MayOR OF KINGSTOWN, and TULSA KING as well as the upcoming series LAWMEN: BASS REEVES and LAND MAN.
