Love is in the air—and possibly at high altitude—this Saturday on Hallmark Channel, as Passport to Love presents A Machu Picchu Proposal. Airing at 8:00 PM ET, this romantic comedy takes Katie and her brother Dan to Peru, where Dan plans to pop the question to his girlfriend, Luciana, at the iconic Machu Picchu.
The trip quickly becomes a series of comedic missteps. Dan needs Katie’s Spanish abilities to seek Luciana’s Peruvian father’s blessing, adding a hurdle to his plans. Things get even more complicated with the unexpected presence of Chef Carlos, a friend of Luciana’s, who somehow manages to interfere with every proposal attempt, turning what should be a grand romantic gesture into comical chaos.
Despite the setbacks, Katie is determined to see her brother’s engagement happen. When Dan throws in the towel and calls off the proposal, Katie finds herself working with Carlos to salvage the situation. In typical Hallmark fashion, it looks like Katie might even find some unexpected romance of her own with the chef amidst all the proposal mayhem. It’s a global search for love that looks to be full of scenic views and charming mishaps.
