Apples Never Fall: Premiering March 2024 on Peacock

The limited drama series “Apples Never Fall” is set to premiere exclusively on Peacock in March 2024. Based on Liane Moriarty’s New York Times bestselling novel, the show revolves around the Delaney family, headed by former tennis coaches Stan and Joy Delaney, played by Sam Neill and Annette Bening. The family’s seemingly perfect facade is disrupted when a young woman arrives at their door, prompting unexpected events that lead to the revelation of long-held family secrets.

The show’s writer, showrunner, and executive producer, Melanie Marnich, expressed her enthusiasm for bringing Moriarty’s story to television, emphasizing the family’s complexities and the exploration of themes such as love, marriage, and self-definition within the family dynamic. She also delved into the portrayal of the sacrifices made by parents, as well as the challenges faced by working mothers.

Executive producer David Heyman echoed Marnich’s sentiments, praising Moriarty’s storytelling and the compelling nature of the Delaney family’s unraveling secrets. He highlighted the vivid and complex characters and the emotional depth of the story, emphasizing its potential for gripping television.
