Peyton Manning Salutes America’s Soldiers in HISTORY Channel Special

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning has teamed up with The HISTORY Channel for a new two-hour documentary, The American Soldier. Premiering on Veterans Day, November 11th at 8/7c, the special chronicles the 250-year history of the American fighting force.

From the Revolutionary War to the conflicts of the 21st century, The American Soldier examines the pivotal role soldiers have played in shaping the nation. The documentary will feature a mix of archival footage and insights from experts, including military leaders like Gen. Stan McCrystal and historians such as Dr. H.W. Brands, Dr. Yohuru Williams, Dr. Marcia Chatelain, and Annette Gordon-Reed.

The special will be available for streaming on The HISTORY Channel app, history.com, and various on-demand platforms the day after its premiere.
