House hunting with a large family is never easy, but throw in a love of dogs, a £240,000 budget, and a relocation to Spain, and things start to get truly complicated. That’s the challenge facing Lee Juggurnauth in Wednesday’s “A Place in the Sun,” as he helps Steve and Heather, retired dog lovers from Northern Ireland find their ideal Spanish home.
Steve and Heather have their sights set on southern Valencia, hoping for a two or three-bedroom house with a pool, an outside kitchen, and, importantly, an annexe. Why the extra space? Well, they need room for their nine children, eighteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and, of course, their furry companions.
Lee has his work cut out for him, presenting options ranging from a budget-friendly bungalow to a sprawling rural retreat, complete with a wine cellar. Whether any of these properties will tick all the boxes for this large, dog-loving family remains to be seen. Southern Valencia offers an appealing mix of rural tranquility and easy access to city life, but finding the right property for such specific needs is a tall order.
Tune in to Channel 4 this Wednesday, March 12th at 6:00 PM to see if Lee can pull off a property miracle.
