“A Place In The Sun: What Happened Next?” returns to Channel 4 this Tuesday, with another look into the lives of those who took the plunge and bought their dream holiday homes. The episode revisits two couples, one in Crete and the other in Spain, to see how their overseas properties have fared over the years.
First up, Laura Hamilton catches up with Jenn and Elliot in the charming seaside village of Almyrida, Crete. Back in 2020, they chose the very first apartment Laura presented to them, passing over other appealing options, including a place above a restaurant. Laura joins them for some snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, offering a glimpse into their idyllic Mediterranean life.
Then, it’s off to Nigüelas, Spain, where Danni Menzies visits Kath and Charlotte. Since purchasing their townhouse in 2018, they’ve made some impressive changes, including the addition of a cozy nook that takes full advantage of their orange tree view. Danni even gets to sample some freshly squeezed orange juice, straight from the source. And, to top it off, she joins Kath and Charlotte for a bit of skiing on the nearby slopes. It’s a reminder that a holiday home can offer more than just sun and sand.
