First, Jean Johansson heads to Torrevieja, Spain, to catch up with brothers Peter and David. Back in 2020, with a £100,000 budget, they were seeking a property with ample outdoor space, a communal pool, and easy access to local amenities. Jean witnesses the fruits of their labor as she gets hands on to see what a bit of decorating can do.
Then, Jasmine Harman travels to Larnaca, Cyprus, where retired clergyman Father Ken settled in 2021. Jasmine explores the transformations Ken has made to his place and meets his family, who are over for a visit. Has their new life in the sun lived up to expectations? Or have unforeseen challenges clouded their overseas dream?
