“Poker Face” Gets UK Premiere 26 May on Sky Max

Sky has announced that the entire season of the highly anticipated detective series POKER FACE will premiere on Sky Max and the streaming service NOW on Friday, May 26. With an all-star cast, including executive producer, writer, and director Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll, Orange Is the New Black), the series is a fun ride for viewers with it’s mix of comedy and Columbo-esque crime solving.

What is Poker Face about

POKER FACE is a 10-episode mystery-of-the-week series starring Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. The series was created, written, directed, and executive produced by Rian Johnson, writer/director/producer of the hit ‘Knives Out’ films, who has been nominated for multiple Academy Awards. She packs up her Plymouth Barracuda and hits the road, where she meets new characters and investigates bizarre crimes.

The whodunnit series features an impressive roster of big name guest stars including Adrien Brody, Charles Melton, Chloë Sevigny, Cherry Jones, Danielle MacDonald, Dascha Polanco, Ellen Barkin, Hong Chau, Jameela Jamil, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judith Light, Lil Rel Howery, Niall Cunningham, Rowan Blanchard, Stephanie Hsu, Simon Helberg, Colton Ryan, S. Epatha Merkerson, Luis Guzman, John Ratzenberger, Nick Nolte and Tim Meadows.

Nora and Lilla Zuckerman serve as showrunners and executive producers. Other executive producers include Ram Bergman, Natasha Lyonne, Nena Rodrigue and Iain B. MacDonald, alongside Maya Rudolph and Danielle Renfrew Behrens as co-executive producers. The series is produced by T-Street, MRC Television and Animal Pictures and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
