It’s time for another ride-along with “Police 24/7,” The CW’s series takes a raw, unfiltered look at the unpredictable world of law enforcement. “Side Swiped” captures the sheer range of situations police officers encounter during a single shift, from high-stakes emergencies to the more mundane – though sometimes equally chaotic – realities of everyday life.
In this episode, officers race to respond to a possible overdose, fighting to save a woman’s life. Elsewhere, a team forcibly enters a residence to apprehend a suspect, while another officer finds himself playing mediator in a heated family dispute. As if that weren’t enough, a driver accidentally crashes their car into a local store, adding another layer of mayhem to the mix.
