A new episode of Police Interceptors airs on Channel 5 on Monday, 16 September 2024, at 8:00 pm.
Interceptors Alex and Josh visit HMP Five Wells, one of the largest category C prisons in the UK. They investigate a man seen throwing suspicious packages over the prison wall. Upon arrival, they notice someone acting suspiciously in a hire car.
The individual attempts to flee but is quickly apprehended with the help of Alex’s taser. The officers discover a condom filled with drugs strapped to the suspect’s waistband, along with several parcels of powder. The seized drugs are worth thousands of pounds and were intended for prison distribution.
Meanwhile, ANPR technology directs Callum and Rachael to a vehicle linked to drug offenses. When they stop the car, the driver throws bags of drugs into the boot and his mobile phone over a wall. In a bizarre turn of events, after a drug wipe, the driver starts licking the seat in Callum’s car.
