Bermuda may be a paradise for tourists, but for its police force, it’s a unique set of challenges. “Policing Paradise” on BBC One follows the officers who keep the peace on this beautiful island, and in this Wednesday’s episode, they face their biggest test yet: Cup Match. This annual cricket tournament brings with it a nationwide party atmosphere, and for the police, that means crowds, celebrations, and the potential for things to get out of hand.
At the cricket stadium, Officers Imani Scott and Daischon Chin have their hands full managing the revelers. Meanwhile, rookie officer Holly Lavigne-Smith, a former nurse from Britain, gets her “baptism of fire” at the notoriously rowdy Beach Fest, trying to keep underage drinking under control. Elsewhere, officers Shandora Burrows and Bryden Pedro deal with traffic mayhem, while Constables Duval Robinson and Derek Simmons head to the airport to apprehend an American caught importing cannabis.
Tune in to BBC One this Wednesday, April 9th at 2:00 PM to see how they handle the heat.
