Elsewhere on the island, community policing takes center stage as Constables Shandora Burrows and Bryden Pedro offer assistance to a civilian stranded with a flat tire. It’s a small gesture but a significant one, illustrating the everyday connections between law enforcement and the community they serve.
With tourism being the lifeblood of Bermuda’s economy, supporting nearly 3,000 jobs, Commissioner Darrin Simons stresses the importance of maintaining a safe and secure environment for visitors, especially during the busy summer months. Meanwhile, Officer Milton Joshua Hill patrols the island on his motorbike, cracking down on unlicensed vehicles – until his supply of tickets runs out, that is.
