“Poppa’s House” welcomes a comedic force this Monday as Marlon Wayans guest stars as Melvin, Poppa’s smooth-talking, slightly shady brother. Melvin arrives with a “get-rich-quick scheme” that’s sure to cause some trouble, because, well, that’s what brothers like Melvin do.
With an episode penned by Dean Lorey & Damon Wayans and directed by Kim Wayans, the comedic pedigree is undeniable. This episode practically guarantees some classic Wayans-style humor. Poppa, already juggling the everyday chaos of work and family, now has to contend with his brother’s questionable plan. One can only imagine the eye-rolls and exasperated sighs that will ensue.
