Family sitcom Poppa’s House returns to CBS this Monday with “Slumber Party,” an episode centered around, well, a slumber party. Poppa, however, isn’t feeling the familial bonding vibe and opts out of the overnight festivities. This, naturally, doesn’t sit well with Junior, who devises a plan to make Poppa green with envy. Will his scheme work, or will it backfire spectacularly? This is network sitcom territory, so expect hijinks, heartwarming moments, and probably a lesson learned.
Adding to the fun, the legendary Charo guest stars as herself. Because who doesn’t need a little “cuchi-cuchi” in their Monday night viewing? Wendy Raquel Robinson and Geoffrey Owens also return as Catherine and J.J., adding their comedic chops to the mix.
