STARZ’s “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” continues its descent into the world of ’90s drug dealing this Friday, and “Peekaboo” looks like a game-changer. Kanan Stark, still a teenager but already showing flashes of the ruthless kingpin he’ll become, is on the hunt for Krystal, who has vanished. His search will undoubtedly lead him down some dangerous paths.
Meanwhile, Raq, Kanan’s mother and the mastermind behind their family’s burgeoning drug empire, is dealing with the consequences of Unique’s retaliation and Marvin’s blunder. Plus, Jukebox, Kanan’s cousin and confidante, takes a trip down memory lane, a journey that will likely reveal more about her troubled past. Even Lou-Lou, usually focused on his music career, finds his ambitions taking a new direction.
