The trial of Rusty Sabich takes a dramatic turn in Episode 6 of Presumed Innocent, titled “The Elements,” as unexpected events unfold in the courtroom. With Rusty on trial for the murder of Carolyn Polhemus, the prosecution, led by Tommy Molto, has already established a strong case.

The focus of the series remains on the Sabich family, particularly the tumultuous marriage between Rusty and Barbara, marked by infidelity. The trial brings their affairs to the forefront of course, something that won’t help Rusty’s case of course.
