Prime Video has unveiled the cast for Last One Laughing UK, an upcoming comedy series featuring ten of Britain’s top comedic talents. Hosted by the sharp-witted Jimmy Carr, the series includes Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley, and Richard Ayoade. Special guest Roisin Conaty will also join the cast.
The show’s premise is simple but challenging: comedians must spend an entire day together without laughing. If they laugh, they’re eliminated. While the contestants try to outwit each other, surprise cameos and unexpected twists are designed to break their composure.
Last One Laughing UK is the British adaptation of the Documental format, created by Japanese comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto. Versions of the format have already found massive success in countries like France, Germany, and Italy, where it became the most-watched title on Prime Video. It has also been adapted in more than 20 regions, with notable hosts including Rebel Wilson in Australia and Trevor Noah in South Africa.
The series is produced by Banijay UK labels Zeppotron and Initial. It is scheduled for release in 2025.
