Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creative force behind Fleabag, is set to write and executive produce a new series based on the iconic Tomb Raider video game franchise. The series, ordered by Prime Video, will see Waller-Bridge take on the world of Lara Croft, the fearless archaeologist and adventurer.
In a collaboration between Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios, the series is part of a broader deal to develop new stories within the Tomb Raider universe for both television and film.

The series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories, bringing a fresh chapter to the iconic Tomb Raider franchise.
In addition to the series, Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Games are also developing a new multiplatform Tomb Raider game. This untitled game promises a narrative-driven, single-player experience, continuing the legendary explorations of Lara Croft.
The series is executive produced by Crystal Dynamics, Waller-Bridge, Jenny Robbins (Wells Street Productions), Dmitri M. Johnson (dj2 Entertainment), Michael Scheel, and Legendary Television. Consulting producers include Amanda Greenblatt and Ryan Andolina of Star Party.
