Prime Video is packing its June 2025 lineup with marquee sports coverage, prestige dramas, and high-wattage originals as the streamer leans into global tentpoles and genre swings.

The headline grabber for sports fans: the ICC World Test Championship Final, streaming live and exclusively from Wednesday, June 11 to Saturday, June 15. Australia faces off against South Africa at Lord’s, with coverage starting 7:30 PM AEST. Prime Video will also roll out curated highlight packages (10-minute and 25-minute formats) and full-match replays. Australian skipper and Prime Video brand ambassador Pat Cummins leads the squad into what’s positioned as the streamer’s biggest live sports play of the month.

On the scripted side, June kicks off with the global premiere of Nicole Kidman’s erotic thriller Babygirl, landing Tuesday, June 3. The film, a tension-soaked psychological drama, marks one of Kidman’s latest projects under her ongoing producing deal and gives Prime a buzzy early-summer swing in the adult thriller lane.

Mid-month brings YA heat with We Were Liars, the adaptation of E. Lockhart’s bestselling novel, arriving Wednesday, June 18. Set against the backdrop of a wealthy New England enclave, the drama follows buried secrets and family trauma on a private island. The book spent over 80 weeks on the NYT bestseller list, giving Prime a clear IP-forward entry in the young adult space.

Jensen Ackles returns to series TV in Countdown, premiering Wednesday, June 25. The mystery thriller centers on a detective pulled into a high-stakes conspiracy after a Homeland Security officer is murdered. The project’s cast and premise position it as a potential breakout for genre fans.
