Prime Video’s “Overcompensating” Expands Cast for Upcoming Series

Prime Video has announced the full cast for its series Overcompensating, created by and starring Benito Skinner. The show centers on Benny, a closeted college football player working out his identity and the challenges of college life.

Skinner is joined by Connie Britton, Kyle MacLachlan, Kaia Gerber, Julia Shiplett, Tommy Do, Alexandra Beaton, Claire Qute, Elias Azimi, and Maddie Phillips.

Britton portrays Kathryn, Benny’s overprotective mother struggling with her son’s growing independence, while MacLachlan plays John, Benny’s father, who is fixated on his son’s past high school achievements. Gerber and Beaton take on the roles of Esther and Bridget, the co-heads of an elite university secret society, while Shiplett, Do, Qute, and Azimi fill out the ensemble.
