Laverne Cox’s comedy series, “Clean Slate,” will not return for a second season on Prime Video. The streaming service has opted not to renew the show, bringing the story to a close after its initial eight-episode run.

Season 1 of “Clean Slate,” starring Cox and George Wallace, premiered in its entirety on February 6, 2025. The half-hour comedy followed the story and character arcs that will now remain unresolved. The reason behind Prime Video’s decision has not been disclosed.
