Professor T Renewed for Season 5 on ITV: Ben Miller Returns!

ITV has greenlit a fifth season of the popular detective drama Professor T, starring Ben Miller as the eccentric Cambridge criminologist Jasper Tempest. The new season will feature more intriguing cases and significant personal developments for the Professor. Series 4 will air later in 2025.

Here’s the Lowdown: Ben Miller is back as Professor Jasper Tempest, along with Frances de la Tour as his mother, Adelaide. Zoe Wanamaker joins them playing Adelaide’s sister, Zelda Radclyffe. Juliet Stevenson also returns as psychologist Dr Helena Goldberg. The core police team of Barney White (Detective Dan Winters), Sunetra Sarker (DCI Maiya Goswami), and Rhian Blundell (Detective Chloe Highsmith) will also return. Season five will feature six new episodes.
