Disney+ has confirmed the third season of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder will launch on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The new episodes arrive with a fourth season already in production for 2026.
The revival from Bruce W. Smith and Ralph Farquhar continues to expand its world, sending Penny Proud and her crew on a mix of globe-spanning adventures and chaotic home life back in Smithville. The tone stays sharp, the visuals stay bold, and the show remains one of Disney’s most reliably layered animated comedies.
Guest casting for season three is dense. New voices include Janelle James, Sanaa Lathan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Lynn Whitfield, Adrienne Warren, Kirk Franklin and Bubba Wallace. They join a long list of recurring names like Keke Palmer, Billy Porter, Zachary Quinto, EJ Johnson, Chance the Rapper, Brenda Song, Lena Waithe and Gabrielle Union.
Core cast returns include Kyla Pratt as Penny, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker, JoMarie Payton, Cedric the Entertainer, Karen Malina White, Soleil Moon Frye, Alisa Reyes, Carlos Mencia, Alvaro Gutierrez and Raquel Lee Bolleau.
Music also remains central. Kurt Farquhar returns as composer, with ten new original songs by Grammy-winner Roccstar locked in for season three.
The show has picked up major recognition since its 2022 return. Wins and nominations span the NAACP Image Awards, Children’s and Family Emmys, GLAAD Media Awards, NAMIC Vision Awards and the Annies.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder remains a flagship title for Disney Branded Television, backed by critical support, franchise strength and a packed guest roster. Seasons one and two, along with the full original series, are streaming now on Disney+.
