QI Returns to Filming! Series W Heads to BBC Two

The popular panel show QI, featuring Sandi Toksvig and Alan Davies, is returning to the studio in March to film Series W. The new series will air on BBC Two later this year.

Here’s the Lowdown: QI is back for another round of intriguing and often hilarious exploration of various topics, this time all starting with the letter “W.” Regulars Sandi Toksvig and Alan Davies will again front the series and a whole raft of star names are expected, following on from previous guests such as Nish Kumar, Rhod Gilbert, Ross Noble, Sara Pascoe, Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Joe Lycett and Aisling Bea.

What This Means Now: Fans of the show can look forward to a fresh batch of episodes. While the exact airdate hasn’t been announced, it’s confirmed for later in 2025 on BBC Two.

The Bigger Picture: QI continues to be a popular fixture on the BBC. The show, produced by Talkback (a Fremantle label), was commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC. Piers Fletcher serves as Executive Producer, and Sarah Clay is the Commissioning Editor for the BBC.
