In the sixth episode of Race Across the World 4, the teams continue their remarkable journey as they leave the tranquil paradise of Koh Phi Phi behind and embark on a new challenge: a 2,000-kilometer expedition across Malaysia to the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
The duos must make a strategic choice: they can either island-hop via Koh Lipe, indulging in more time on Thailand’s renowned white sandy beaches, or return to the Thai mainland to take advantage of affordable and frequent transport options down the Malay Peninsula. With budgets tightening and pressure intensifying, their decision-making becomes increasingly crucial.
As the race progresses, the teams will need to carefully consider their transportation methods and navigate new cultural experiences in their race to reach the sixth checkpoint, located in the city of Bukittinggi, framed by picturesque mountains.
Race Across the World, Series 4 Episode 6 airs Wednesday, 15 May 2024, at 9:00 pm on BBC One.
