CBS’s Raid the Cage is turning up the patriotism with a military-themed showdown this Wednesday. Airing at 9 PM ET (and streaming on Paramount+ with Showtime), Armed Forces pits two branches of the service against each other in a battle of wits, speed, and trivia.
Representing the Army: Ronnie and Christopher, two friends from Atlanta. Facing off against them: Erica and Kevin, Air Force co-workers from Palm Beach. With Damon Wayans Jr. and Jeannie Mai running the show, the episode is set for a high-energy face-off that tests teamwork under pressure.
The game, for the uninitiated, involves timed trivia rounds that give teams a chance to grab prizes from the titular cage—everything from small-ticket swag to actual cars. The team whose haul is worth the most at the end of three rounds takes home the loot. But there’s a twist: winners have the option to “beat the cage” in a final round for a shot at a bigger cash prize.
Expect fast-paced gameplay, some friendly inter-service rivalry, and the ever-present chance of a last-minute upset. After all, it wouldn’t be Raid the Cage without a little nail-biting suspense.
Raid the Cage airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS and streams on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.
