Comedian Ramy Youssef is set to make his debut as host of “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday, March 30th on NBC. Joining him as the musical guest will be Travis Scott, who previously appeared on the show in 2018.
Youssef’s hosting gig comes as he promotes his new HBO comedy special, “Ramy Youssef: More Feelings,” which premieres on Saturday, March 23rd. In this special, Youssef explores various topics including discrimination in America. He can also be seen in the Oscar-nominated film “Poor Things,” starring Emma Stone and currently nominated for 11 Academy Awards.
The Golden Globe winner for his role in the Hulu original comedy series “Ramy” in 2020, Youssef has had a successful career blending humor with social commentary. The series followed the life of its titular character as he navigated the complexities of being part of a religious Muslim community while also embracing millennial ideals.
Travis Scott, an acclaimed rapper with ten Grammy nominations under his belt, released his latest album titled “Utopia” last July. He recently performed three songs from the album at the Grammy Awards and embarked on the Circus Maximus Tour to support his music.
Be sure to tune in on Saturday, March 30 for this upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live.”
