The first part of any Real Housewives reunion is just table-setting. The real fireworks? They usually come in Part 2, and this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County looks to be no exception. This week, the ladies of the OC continue their rehash of Season 18’s petty squabbles, interpersonal calamities, and various wine-fueled meltdowns.
First up, Jenn is apparently having second thoughts about her friendship with Tamra. Second thoughts are a common occurrence when Tamra’s involved, but whether this leads to a genuine rift or just more performative hand-wringing is, shall we say, TBD.
Then, the always fraught relationship between Emily, Heather, and Katie gets another airing as the fashion show fiasco gets revisited. I suspect this will involve a lot of pointed finger-wagging and exasperated sighs.
But the real kicker? The return of Alexis Bellino. Yes, that Alexis Bellino. Bellino’s presence is almost guaranteed to reignite old feuds and maybe even forge some surprising new alliances.
Nobody expects profound insights from a Housewives reunion. We’re here for the contrived drama, the manufactured outrage, and the occasional, utterly unintentional moment of genuine human connection. Based on Bravo’s previews, Part 2 of this reunion appears poised to deliver all of that and possibly even more.
