So, the Grande Dame’s day of reckoning has arrived. Or at least, a day involving some form of reckoning, presumably within the confines of a courtroom. This week’s Real Housewives of Potomac appears poised to finally address the circumstances surrounding Karen Huger’s mysterious accident, a storyline that’s been dangling like an expensive chandelier slightly askew.

Will we get concrete answers, or just more cryptic pronouncements and perfectly-timed glances at the camera? I’m cautiously optimistic, though my expectations remain carefully calibrated after years of Housewives ambiguity.

Meanwhile, on the opposite end of the spectrum from legal woes, we have Jassi celebrating her boyfriend Darius’s apparent brush with presidential proximity. A White House meeting, you say? Sounds impressive. Naturally, such an occasion necessitates a party, because what’s a vaguely defined connection to political power without an excuse to gather the ladies and stir the proverbial Potomac pot? You can only imagine the conversational fireworks that will erupt when these two storylines collide.
