Carlos King returns with his Huntsville-centric look back-show on OWN on Saturday night. This time, he’s joined by Marsau Scott, to dissect all the drama from Love & Marriage: Huntsville. The Love & Marriage ladies are off to St. Thomas, which I’m sure will be a relaxing, conflict-free getaway. Just kidding. We all know vacations on reality TV are designed to amplify existing tensions and manufacture new ones. I’m picturing a lot of forced smiles, passive-aggressive comments disguised as compliments, and possibly someone throwing a drink.
Adding fuel to the fire, Destiny is apparently armed with “receipts” about Sunni and Moses’ relationship, which she plans to deploy in a long-awaited showdown. I’m not sure what these receipts entail – incriminating text messages? Suspicious credit card charges? Photographic evidence? – but I’m eager to see how this plays out.
Will it be a measured confrontation or a full-blown meltdown? With this crew, it’s always a toss-up. And let’s be honest, the real entertainment here isn’t the drama itself, but King’s commentary. His blend of insider knowledge and sharp wit is what elevates these recaps to must-see television.
