Reginald the Vampire

The sophomore season of the Syfy series Reginald the Vampire is set to premiere on May 8 at 10 p.m. The show is based on Johnny B. Truant’s Fat Vampire novels and centres on Reginald Andres, a young man who becomes a vampire.

The first season concluded with a dramatic finale, leaving fans eager for more. In the upcoming season, viewers can expect to see how Reginald navigates his new life as a vampire and discovers his unique powers.

Jacob Batalon, known for his role in the Tom Holland Spider-Man films, leads the cast as Reginald Andres. He is joined by a talented ensemble, including Marguerite Hanna, Mandela Van Peebles, Em Haine, Aren Buchholz, Savannah Basley, and Georgia Waters.

The series has garnered a dedicated fan base and performed well in ratings, ranking as cable’s No. 2 drama in the 10 p.m. Wednesday timeslot for the 18-49 demographic during its first season.

In addition to the returning cast, the second season will introduce new characters and storylines. Last summer, it was announced that Garfield Wilson, known for his roles in Peter Pan & Wendy and Schmigadoon!, would join the cast as Balestro, a powerful angel with a chilling prophecy.
