Nicole Curtis is back in Detroit for the third episode of Rehab Addict Season 10, airing Tuesday, July 8, 2025, on HGTV. Titled “Doris Demolition,” the episode follows Curtis and her contractor as they push forward on one of her most stubborn properties yet.
The house in question, known as the “Doris project,” has already given Curtis plenty of headaches. This week, the focus shifts to the rear section of the home where they begin restoring the back structure. What starts as a relatively contained exterior job turns complicated when Curtis discovers the back porch is in worse shape than expected. She quickly learns it’s not just aged, it was previously concealed with patchwork framing that fails under inspection.
The episode tracks the careful teardown and rebuilding of the porch, which Curtis treats as a structural cornerstone rather than a cosmetic add-on. With the pressure to keep the property historically accurate while still meeting code, Curtis and her team must improvise under a tight timeline.
