The Repair Shop: Village Sign, Shop Till (BBC One, Wednesday, March 5, 2025)

The Repair Shop Repairers

There’s something inherently heartwarming about watching skilled craftspeople breathe new life into cherished heirlooms. BBC One’s “The Repair Shop” returns this Wednesday with another batch of heartwarming restorations, bringing joy and rekindled memories to families across the UK.

This week, woodworker Will Kirk takes on a damaged village sign brought in by Bev, a piece designed by her late father. For Jas, a rusted-up shop till from his parents’ grocery store holds a special significance, complete with toy money that evokes memories of his childhood. And sisters Georgie and Lydia hope to have cinema seats from their great-uncle’s cinema restored, giving them a chance to experience a bit of 1940s nostalgia. Each item tells a story, and the team at “The Repair Shop” treats them with the care and respect they deserve. Watch the magic on BBC One, Wednesday, March 5th at 8:00 PM.
