When a windsurfer suffers a sudden cardiac arrest after a nasty wipeout, lifeguards Will and Em are thrust into a frantic race against time. Meanwhile, away from the crashing waves, Captain Sonny’s family lunch with his child, Ocean, seems poised for a potential eruption of long-simmering tensions.
Back on shore, Em finds herself increasingly concerned about her mother’s potential relapse into unhealthy habits. Plus, Hina’s jealousy over Kainalu’s new relationship boils over, leading her to make a drunken move on Laka.
