In the third episode of Return to Paradise, there is mystery surrounding Bianca Bailey’s death. The local beauty salon owner, played by Airlie Dodds, meets her demise in a twisted turn of events, leaving her employees and the town of Dolphin Cove in shock.
Upon returning from lunch, Tahnee, Skye, and Jade discover their boss, Bianca, dead on the floor of her office at La Belle Dauphine salon. The apparent cause of death is strangulation, but the murder weapon remains a mystery, leaving a tangled web for Detective Mackenzie to untangle.
Bianca’s last known interaction was waving her employees off to their lunch break, and within that hour, her life was taken. Suspicion initially falls on Bianca’s landlord, Troy, who visited the salon during the girls’ absence. However, Mackenzie’s investigative instincts kick in, and she knows there’s more to uncover. Motives may be abundant, but opportunity seems scarce.
In this episode, we explore the depths of great hair and the secrets it can conceal. Could the truth be hiding in plain sight, masked by the glamour of the beauty industry? Meanwhile, Felix finds himself in an uncomfortable position when Reggie takes something from the crime scene, and he is reminded of a crime from his youth. Will the adult Felix be able to make amends for his past transgression?
Plus, Mackenzie grapples with her own personal demons as she has a difficult conversation with her ex-partner, Glenn. Can she confront her past and find a way to make things right?
