Reuben Owen is back, and so are the heavy-duty machines. “Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales” returns to Channel 5 this Tuesday for its second season premiere, picking up as Reuben celebrates his 21st birthday and tackles new challenges in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.
The episode finds Reuben facing an unexpected setback while clearing land for a renovation project: crumbling foundations that require the expertise of his dad, Clive. Meanwhile, Reuben’s mum Amanda expresses concern over the sheer size of his latest acquisition, a massive 22-tonne digger. She may have a point – this thing is a beast!
With the help of his brothers Miles and Sidney, Reuben continues to build his heavy plant machinery business while still finding time for family fun, including a visit to a goat farm for his aspiring farmer brother Sidney.
“Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales” premieres Tuesday, May 20th at 8:00 PM on Channel 5.
