Just when you thought the Gemstone family couldn’t get any more outrageous, HBO’s “The Righteous Gemstones” returns this Sunday with “For Jealousy Is the Rage of a Man.” Expect the usual blend of dark humor, questionable morals, and enough family dysfunction to fill a megachurch.
This week, Eli finds himself facing a dangerous adversary, suggesting that the Gemstones’ long tradition of deviance and greed might have finally caught up with them. While Eli deals with a threat to his empire, Baby Billy is having his own kind of crisis on the set of “Teenjus.” As for Judy? Well, she’s got “monkey problems,” which, knowing the Gemstones, are likely to be anything but ordinary. Meanwhile, Keefe is still working to get Kelvin out of his tree house.
