Global music icon Robbie Williams will ring in 2025 with a headline performance at ABC’s NYE24 concert, broadcast live from the Sydney Opera House forecourt. The announcement comes fresh off the heels of Williams’ sold-out Australian tour, further solidifying his connection with the country that served as the backdrop for his recent biopic, “Better Man.”

As part of its New Year’s Eve programming, ABC will offer viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of “Better Man.” The special will explore the creation of the film, offering insights into the locations, music, and creative process.

Joining Williams on the NYE24 stage is a diverse array of Australian talent. The lineup features rock duo Fanning Dempsey National Park (Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey), powerhouse vocalist Casey Donovan, electronic music artist Cyril, hip-hop group 1300, emerging artist Nooky, country star Randy Houser, soul singer Becca Hatch, and indie-pop sensation G Flip.

The evening’s festivities will be guided by hosts Charlie Pickering, Zan Rowe, and Concetta Caristo, starting at 8:30 PM on ABC TV and iview, along with simulcasts on ABC News, ABC listen, and Double J. The concert will also be broadcast on ABC Local Radio from 9 PM AEDT.

The NYE24 concert is produced in partnership with the City of Sydney.
