Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Adds Janelle Monáe, Jim Carrey, and The Killers to 2025 Lineup

The 38th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation has expanded its roster of performers and presenters for the 40th annual induction ceremony. The event, scheduled to take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will feature new additions including Avril Lavigne, Janelle Monáe, and actor Jim Carrey. The ceremony will stream live on Disney+ on November 8 at 5:00 PM PST before a condensed special airs on ABC on January 1, 2026.

The new list of special guests is extensive. It includes musicians Bryan Adams, Chappell Roan, Donald Glover, En Vogue, Feist, and Jerry Cantrell. Also set to appear are Gina Schock of The Go-Go’s, producer Hurby Luv Bug Azor, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, The Killers, and Prince’s former bandmate Lisa Coleman. The lineup is rounded out by Mick Fleetwood, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Nathaniel Rateliff, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band.

These artists join a previously announced group of presenters and performers that includes Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, and Elton John. That initial list also featured Flea, Iggy Pop, Killer Mike, Missy Elliott, and Olivia Rodrigo, among others. In a promotional tie-in, ABC’s Dancing with the Stars will air a “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night” on November 4.

This year’s ceremony will honor a new class of inductees. The Performer category includes Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes. Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will be recognized for Musical Influence; Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye for Musical Excellence; and Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
