“Rockstar Shuffle” & “Parking Lot Payday” Premiere This Feb on AXS TV
On February 19, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, AXS TV will bring back its iconic “Sunday Night Rocks” lineup, featuring brand-new original programming and explosive performances.
“Rockstar Shuffle”, a brand-new original series premiering on “Sunday Night Rocks,” will provide music fans with an intimate look into the lives of some of their favorite rock legends as they reveal never-before-seen personal stories, display priceless memorabilia from their careers, and reflect on the most memorable moments of their lives.
Ann Wilson of Heart discusses her top five vinyl records; ‘The Red Rocker’ Sammy Hagar and ‘The Motor City Madman’ Ted Nugent engage in a heated chat; and more are all featured in the inaugural episode of the series airing on February 19.
Rob Halford, Roger Daltrey, Lzzy Hale, Joe Elliott, Zakk Wylde, John Oates, Gavin Rossdale, Rick Springfield, Joe Satriani, Wynonna Judd, and Jason Mraz make guest appearances in the first season’s entertaining and informative episodes.
Then, on February 19, Zach Selwyn’s “Parking Lot Payday” will air specials about Mötley Crüe and then a week later Metallica.
At 9 p.m. on February 19, metal legends Mötley Crüe will set the tone for the evening with an emotional performance recorded at the last show of their final tour. The Saints of the Sunset Strip will return home for a wild night filled with classics like “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Shout At The Devil,” “Home Sweet Home,” and many more.
The on February 26, twenty years after the release of their groundbreaking S&M album, metal pioneers James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich, and Robert Trujillo reunite with the San Francisco Symphony to perform an epic new take on classic songs like “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “The Memory Remains,” “One,” “Nothing Else Matters,” and “Enter Sandman” in the television premiere of Metallica: S&M2.
