The Roku Channel Scoops Up Massive Baking Slate in New Love Productions Deal

TV News Just In

The Roku Channel is beefing up its unscripted arsenal with a sweeping multi-series pact with Love Productions, securing a wide range of titles under the lucrative Baking Show umbrella—plus several related UK lifestyle franchises.

The deal, struck between Love Productions and Roku, brings the full bench of The Great British Baking Show: Juniors (Seasons 1–7), The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals (Seasons 1–9), and The Great Canadian Baking Show (Seasons 1–8) to US audiences for the first time. It also secures continuity for The Great British Baking Show core series, which remains available on the platform.

New Roku Originals are also on deck. Fresh stateside installments of The Great American Baking Show are confirmed, including Season 4, plus three themed celebrity specials—Celebrity Halloween, Celebrity Holiday Season 4, and Celebrity Summer Season 2. Big Game also returns for a second season.

The deal broadens Roku’s reach beyond baking, too, with incoming library titles like The Great British Sewing Bee (Seasons 1–10), The Great Pottery Throw Down (Seasons 6 & 7), and its seasonal specials.

It’s a major content lift for Roku’s ad-supported push, aligning the platform more closely with UK-style feel-good competition formats while giving US viewers deeper access to shows that have long had cult followings online or on PBS.
