ABC’s “The Rookie” returns this Tuesday with “The Good, The Bad, And The Oscar,” giving us a triple threat of storylines: the return of the ever-troublesome Oscar, a bank robbery that throws the city into chaos, and Lucy Chen’s new schedule, which puts a strain on her relationship with Tim Bradford.
John Nolan and Nyla Harper pair up to track down Oscar, while Angela Lopez finds herself at the center of the bank heist investigation. Meanwhile, Lucy and Tim must figure out how to make her new work hours fit into their lives as a couple, not always an easy task for two dedicated cops. Elsewhere, a first date for one of the other rookies takes an unexpected turn, and a family dinner leads to a difficult situation.
