Roosters: Netflix’s New Dutch Comedy About Male Identity

Roosters Key Art

Netflix has released the trailer for “Roosters,” a Dutch comedy series premiering globally on February 28th. Adapted from the Spanish show “Alpha Males,” “Roosters” (Haantjes) centers on four middle-aged friends—Mike, Ivo, Daan, and Greg— struggling with their masculinity in a world of empowered women. Check it out below.

The series follows their often-comical attempts to navigate relationship and career challenges amidst this “crisis.” The cast includes Jeroen Spitzenberger, Waldemar Torenstra, André Dongelmans, and Benja Bruijning as the lead quartet, alongside Jennifer Hoffman, Jelka van Houten, and others.
