The queens of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” are trading in their lip-sync battles for something a little more revealing – their personal stories. This Friday’s episode, “Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve & Talent Monologues,” takes a turn for the heartfelt as the remaining contestants share true stories from their lives, complete with laughter, tears, and maybe a few uncomfortable truths.
But there’s a twist. The monologues aren’t solo performances. Each queen has a partner who must interpret and act out their story through the art of interpretive dance. Yes, you read that right. Interpretive dance. It’s a challenge that combines storytelling, performance skills, and the potential for sheer comedic gold.
With comedian Jerrod Carmichael (“The Carmichael Show”) joining the judges’ panel, expect some sharp wit and insightful critiques. Will the queens manage to convey the heart of their stories through movement? Or will the interpretive dance element send the competition into a tailspin?
Find out on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” this Friday, March 21st at 8:00 PM ET/PT on MTV.
