Fourteen new queens, one talent show, and countless sequins. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” continues its 17th season with the second part of “Drag Queens Got Talent,” airing Friday on MTV. This episode features the remaining seven queens from the initial lineup, all eager to prove they have what it takes to snatch the crown.
The talent show format is a Drag Race staple, allowing the queens to demonstrate their skills beyond the runway and werkroom. It can also be a minefield, with some queens soaring to great heights while others crash and burn in spectacular fashion. Will we witness breathtaking acrobatics, hilarious stand-up comedy, or a truly unsettling interpretive dance? The possibilities are endless, and that’s what makes this episode so compelling.
Adding to the mix is guest judge Doechii, the rapper and singer known for her own considerable talent. Will she be a tough critic, or will she offer gentle encouragement to the nervous newbies? Her presence adds a further variable to an already unpredictable competition.
