Expect high-octane action and some explosive twists on this Friday’s “S.W.A.T.” when a seemingly routine accident turns into a full-blown prison break. When six inmates make a daring escape after an explosion rocks a fruit-packing facility, Hondo and the 20-Squad are called in to contain the chaos. But they soon discover the worksite blast was no accident, and the escaped convicts are anything but disorganized.
As Hondo and his team race against time to apprehend the escapees, they uncover plans for a major robbery, raising the stakes even higher. Back at HQ, Commander Hicks prepares to step down from the SWAT commander’s post, adding another challenge to an already tense situation. Meanwhile, Gamble confronts difficult news about her imprisoned father, a subplot that adds a personal dimension to the high-stakes drama.
