“Saturday Night Live” welcomes back the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning Quinta Brunson to Studio 8H this Saturday. The “Abbott Elementary” star and creator takes on hosting duties for the second time, bringing her comedic talents to the legendary late-night stage. Providing the musical entertainment will be Grammy-nominated artist Benson Boone, making his “SNL” debut.
Boone, known for his heartfelt vocals and introspective lyrics, is set to perform tracks from his new album, “American Heart,” which drops June 20th. It’s a prime opportunity for fans to get a sneak peek at his latest work.
With Brunson at the helm, expect the unexpected. The show’s writers are no doubt crafting sketches that tap into her comedic sensibilities, which means plenty of sharp wit and observational humor. Combine that with Boone’s musical stylings, and this episode of “SNL” looks like a winner. Tune in to NBC this Saturday, May 3 at 11:29 PM ET for the laughs and the music.
