So, Tuesday night, or technically Wednesday morning depending on how you view the passage of time and your sleep schedule, Seth Meyers welcomes a couple of guests worth staying up — or setting the DVR — for. First up, Quinta Brunson, the Emmy-nominated force behind ABC’s mockumentary marvel, Abbott Elementary. Brunson’s appearance coincides with Abbott’s return from its holiday hiatus, so expect some shop talk about the current season and maybe even some tidbits about what kind of academic calamities Janine and the gang will be facing in the future. Not least the two episode crossover with the crew from It’s Always Sunny in Philiadelphia.
Sharing the stage, and likely not a whole lot of screentime because late-night TV is a cruel mistress, will be Matt Rogers. The multi-talented Rogers is appearing in Netflix comedy drama No Good Deed, alongside Ray Ramano and Lisa Kidrow. It’s always a roll of the dice what Rogers might riff on, and while that uncertainty can be nerve-wracking for publicists, it often makes for some genuinely amusing and unexpected late-night moments.
Tune in to NBC on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 12:35 AM for this episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers.
