Legendary singer and actress Vanessa Williams will be be on Sherri on Monday May 6, performing her new single, “Legs (Keep Dancing),” on Sherri. The song is the first original music Williams has released in 15 years, with her last album, The Real Thing, coming out in 2009.
“Legs (Keep Dancing)” is inspired by Williams’ time working with the late singer and actor Diahann Carroll, who wrote a book called “The Legs Are the Last to Go: Aging, Acting, Marrying, and Other Things I Learned the Hard Way.” Carroll played Williams’ mother in The Courage to Love .
Christian comedian Juanita Lolita will be appearing on the “Funny Over 50” segment of Sherri. Lolita is known for her clean comedy routines, drawing on her experiences as a half Puerto Rican and half West Virginian hillbilly.
